In every war, wherever it was fought and for whatever goals (there are always reasons and justifications for negotiations and agreements, never for a war, except when someone attacks the doorstep, family, homeland), the true poet is on the side of innocent victims. The anti-war song was written on February 28, and the next day, March 1, it was published on the front page of the cultural supplement "Večernji novosti". It is deeply anti-war and any other motive interpretation of it would be wrong.
